There are 3 gorge trails which are a nice walk along the stream past several cascades and waterfalls. It offers two stream-fed swimming pools, picnic tables and pavilions, a playground, a nature trail, hiking, fishing and bow-hunting (deer), a campground with tent and trailer sites, and cross-country skiing is available.

National Warplane Museum

The National Warplane Museum (formerly know as The 1941 Historical Aircraft Group) was established in 1994 by an initial band of 250 aviation enthusiasts. The traditional airshow is held on the turf strip at the Geneseo airport every July and highlights aircrafts of the past with a focus on World War II aviation.

An over 135 year old tradition which started in 1876 with Major W. Austin Wadsworth who organized and became Master of the Genesee Valley Hunt. Using hounds and horses this event allows for the Genesee Valley to be regarded as the foxhunting center of North America.

Caledonia Fish Hatchery

The Caledonia Fish Hatchery specializes in brown trout and breeds and releases fish into public waters. On the property there is also a small picnic area, nature trail and historical information. Bring quarters if you’d like to feed the fish with machine dispensed pellets.

Dansville Balloon Festival

An amazing event over the Labor Day weekend where 6 balloon launches with more than 25 balloons are scheduled to launch and we have even had balloons land at Redmond House. The goal of the festival is to provide entertainment and enjoyment to our spectators who on average of 35,000 spectators per year visit our valley to enjoy the festival.

Watkins Glen State Park

A beautiful park which features three trails – open mid-May to early November – by which one can climb or descend the gorge. The Southern Rim and Indian Trails run along the wooded rim of the gorge, while the Gorge Trail is closest to the stream and runs over, under and along the park's 19 waterfalls by way of stone bridges and more than 800 stone steps. We are about an hour from the park.
